Havspaddling i Stigfjorden
Kajakbryggans uthyrningsstation vid Björholmens Marina ligger på nordvästra Tjörn, mitt i ett charmigt fiskeläge omgivet av Stigfjordens naturreservat.
Här paddlar du ut i Stigfjorden, ett skyddat innanhav med klippöar, vikar och blomstrande strandängar. Platsen passar både nybörjare och erfarna paddlare, oavsett om du vill ta en kort tur eller tillbringa en heldag på vattnet.
Så fungerar uthyrningen
Stationen är obemannad och öppen från maj till september. Du bokar enkelt online och får en kod via e-post när bokningen är genomförd. På plats låser du upp utrustningen med koden och sköter allting själv. Om du behöver hjälp kan du rådfråga personalen i hotellets reception, där det också finns toaletter.
Stationen drivs i samarbete med hotellet Björholmens Marina, där du kan njuta av en god måltid eller något att dricka på restaurangens terrass precis vid vattnet.
Kajaker och trampbåtar
Det finns både singelkajaker och dubbelkajaker för dig som vill paddla tillsammans. Kajakerna är stabila och flyter lätt över vågorna. All utrustning finns på plats – åror, flytväst och kapell ligger i kajaken och lämnas tillbaka efter avslutad tur. Kajakstationen ligger längst ner på hotellets parkering, intill vattnet och den fina sandstranden.
Våra trampbåtar ligger nedanför restaurangens uteservering vid småbåtshamnen. De är förstklassiga och mycket rejäla, rymmer fyra till fem personer och har två platser med tramppedaler. Trampbåtarna är lätta att trampa och går förvånansvärt snabbt genom vattnet.

The renter is responsible for taking proper care of and using the equipment correctly. In cases of obvious negligence or theft, the renter may be held liable for any resulting damage or loss.

• You have to be able to swim.
The general terms and conditions, as well as the purchase terms, are available at the time of purchase and must be accepted before completing the transaction.
A life jacket is included in the price and can be found in each watercraft. Remember to put back your life jacket, spray deck and your paddle into the kayak before you shove it into it’s booth when you’re done.
Adapt your tour after your own skill-level. If it’s your first time kayaking or paddleboarding, stay close to shore at all times. On the lake, the right-hand rule applies, and as a paddler, you must always give way. If you turn over with your kayak, don’t panic. Get out and hold on to your kayak and paddle. If you’re not experienced, the best thing to do is to swim with you kayak to shore and empty it of water.
Björholmen’s Marina offers restrooms for Kajakbryggan visitors. The restrooms are located next to the reception.
You find public toilets in the guest harbor.
Visitor parking is available adjacent to Björholmen’s Marina. A parking fee applies.
The distance from the car park to the Kayakbryggan’s unmanned rental station is approx. 10 metres.
The nearest bus stop is called Björholmen.

In cooperation with Björholmen’s Marina, Kajakbryggan has established an unmanned rental station that consist of single kayaks, double kayaks and pedal boats.
An unmanned station means that there is no assisting staff on site, so you handle the pickup and return of the watercraft yourself.
Björholmen’s Marina has a reception with staff present if there is any unexpected problems.
Booking and payment are made on the website.
After completing your purchase, you will soon receive a confirmation email with the code to the lock.
A life jacket is included in the price and can be found in each watercraft.
Please make sure to return the life jacket to the same place when you are finished using it.
